The "720p HD" version of iFriendsV2 HD (available to HD-Showcase members, FanClub members, and in preview trailers), is full 16:9, 720x1280 progressive-scan, end-to-end digital-signal
HD delivered at an average data rate of 6mbps. (By contrast, when you watch a DVD movie in a DVD player, you are seeing an image only one-third as detailed, as DVD is 480x720). Unlike virtually all HD content available to
consumers today, via DirecTV, Dish Network, and your local cable system, iFriendsV2 HD is originally captured in 720p HD, and the signal is never upconverted, never downconverted, and never undergoes analog-to-digital conversion
or digital-to-analog conversion. iFriendsV2 HD utilizes WMV-HD (Windows Media 9) and the mpeg-4 codec. Because 6mbps data rates are too substantial to reliably view in real time over public internet connections, iFriendsV2 offers
720p HD media for download to your PC's hard drive, where you can play it back as often as you like. iFriendsV2 HD does not currently utilize DRM. For greatest enjoyment of iFriendsV2 HD, iFriendsV2 recommends a Windows-Media-Center
